Weekly Message from the Pastor - Dec. 15, 2017

December 15, 2017

Dear Friends,

At the 8:30am and 11:15am services, the choir will present the message through song and scripture in the Christmas Cantata, “Little Lion, Little Lamb.”   They have worked very hard these past several months and we will be blessed. I hope you will invite friends, relatives, acquaintances, and neighbors to hear this message.

At 10:00am, we will worship through the Come Alive Service. We will continue our reflection on the people through whom God worked to bring about the coming of his son into the world.   The stories remind us that we all need support for the journey to which God’s calls us. Often that call is daunting. We aren’t certain we have what it takes. Or, we get discouraged when the road gets tough. It is helpful to be able to lean on someone for awhile as we sort out our situation.   It is also helpful to have this support from someone who has faced a similar situation. At the 10:00am Come Alive service we will reflect on, “Who is your Elizabeth?”

I look forward to worshiping with you. Please pray for people who do not have a church home; that they find Buckhall to be a welcoming community where they can find rest for their soul and grow in grace.

Yours in Christ,
