Weekly Message from the Pastor - Feb. 23, 2018

February 23, 2018

Dear Friends,

I pray that you are finding this season of Lent to be spiritually nourishing and that you sense the presence of God more keenly in your life. We may recognize God with us amid some of the most unlikely circumstances. That is what Moses encountered during an ordinary workday out in the wilderness tending sheep – God’s presence.

Moses was drawn to God’s presence and heard God’s voice calling him. God voice was calling him to a mission of freedom for enslaved Israelites; and God’s voice also meant a kind of freedom for Moses, the freedom to use his experiences, his gifts, and his faith for a cause larger than himself.

As we seek to be attuned to God presence and hearing God’s call, what do you sense God’s voice calling you to do? Or to be? What freedom might you experience as you respond to God’s call?

I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday. Please consider inviting a friend who does not have a church home to join you in worship.

Yours in Christ,
