Buckhall UMC has been blessed to be able to borrow an indoor Labyrinth from another United Methodist church. Walking a labyrinth is a prayer practice that has blessed many for centuries. A number of cathedrals have a labyrinth inlaid into the floors. The journey on the labyrinth reminds us of our faith journey with its twists and turns, our encountering other pilgrims along our walk, and reminding us that along our walk of faith we are never without the presence of God.
The labyrinth will be set up in the fellowship hall. Following are the days and times of its availability.
Wednesday, February 28th: 10:00am to noon
Thursday, March 1st: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Saturday, March 3rd: 10:00pm to noon
Tuesday, March 6th: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Friday, March 9th: 10:00 – noon
Because the Labyrinth is on canvas, participants are required to remove their shoes in order to walk and to refrain from having food or beverage. There will be a handout that gives some guidance on walking the Labyrinth and a guide will be present to answer any questions. For questions, please contact Pastor Linda.
